Rifle Scopes

An Accurate Scope that will perform for you day in and day out is one of the most important parts of your rifle. You can have an extremely accurate rifle, but if your scope is a low quality, you are not going to be able to get the best groups possible.

Not every scope is going to be tailored for every application. Some scopes are going to be better off for hunting, and some are going to be made for benchrest shooting. So, the first thing you are going to have to ask yourself is, what are your plans for your rifle that you are building? Are you going to be using it for hunting, benchrest shooting, or competition? What kind of rifle are you getting your scope for? If you are getting a scope for a 10-22 rifle, you are not going to need to best and most expensive scope on the market, and the main reason is because you are not going to be shooting out to extreme distances with that rifle.

If you are going to be using your gun for hunting, the last thing you want your scope to do is get foggy while you are on the hunt. Some environments can change drastically as time goes by. You can be out in the morning in cold weather, and as the day gets older, it will start to heat up. Having a scope that does not fog up while you are out is a must have in these conditions.

If you are benchrest shooting, there are going to be a number of preferences that could change the scope that you will get. The further you plan on shooting, the better scope you are going to have to get.
